Questions

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. The video is processed by your own browser, on your own device. It is never sent to a server, so it stays private.

What is a fast cut?

A fast cut copies the video without re-encoding it, so it finishes almost instantly with no quality loss. The catch is that cuts snap to the nearest keyframe, so the start can be off by a second or two. Turn it off for an exact cut.

How big can the video be?

Up to 500 MB. Everything runs in your browser’s memory, so very large files can be slow or fail on older phones. Shorter clips work best.

Why is the first run slow?

The first time, your browser downloads the video engine (about 10 MB). After that it is cached and starts quickly. Processing speed depends on your device.
